Hundreds of mod are freely available on the internet including different F1 seasons, none Formula series mods like WTCC, lot of tracks and other things. The EA Sports F1 series consists of six racing simulation. Don't forget about the great modding ability. There are things that Geoff Crammonds Grand Prix 4 did better like weather simulation, but in overall both games are really great racing simulator. The graphics are nice for its age, but nowadays it looks outdated. On some wheels (Microsoft) the game will only recognise half of the pedal travel the first time you calaibrate them but if you calibrate them a second time it often recognises your pedal setup properly (split axis etc) and then gives full axis travel for each pedal. The controls are great and highly customizable, but it's recommended to play it with a good force feedback wheel. The physics are great, the sound effects are close to the real one. One other annoyance, the screen freezes for a couple seconds when someone joins the race. Only thing missing is dedicated server option to accomodate more than 8 players. It doesn't get more realistic or more fun. You can feel your front tire touch the gravel when you understeer. You can feel the bumps on the curbs of the chicanes. You will feel the g-forces as you round a long, easy bend at 230 MPH in 7th gear. Do yourself a favor, get a force-feedback wheel and you will feel more sensations through the wheel from this game then any other racing game ever published. This game is not for casual console gamers with short attention spans. This game is If you are willing to spend the time, as the realism increases with the driving assists turned "off", you will be exhilerated.
